Specialist aluminium fabricator CDW Systems has launched a new door to help installers capitalise on the thriving aluminium market.
CDW Systems worked together with aluminium systems company SAPA to modify and enhance its Stormframe ST II door and bring it to market.
Stormframe ST II is a robust 65mm deep system which is suited to a wide range of applications, from domestic installations and educational, through to heavy-duty commercial construction projects - opening up increased opportunities for installers across these sectors.
Managing director of CDW Systems, Jerry Webb comments: “Economic conditions continue to improve, with more and more commercial projects being specified and constructed.
“This optimism surrounding the economy is also seeing homeowners more willing to spend on home improvements, with renewed interest in aluminium increasing demand for these types of products.
“The SAPA Stormframe ST II door can help installers take advantage of the growth of aluminium through offering a high performance entrance solution, which is visually appealing to the homeowner and a strong enough solution for large-scale commercial contracts.”
Available in single or double door options, Stormframe ST II is compatible with SAPA’s Dualframe and Si Window Wall.
Using advanced polyamide thermal break technology, the door can achieve low U-values of 1.9W/m2K and is tested to PAS024 security standard, allowing it to fulfil thermal performance and security requirements of both replacement and new-build installations.
The introduction of Stormframe ST II to its product range is part of CDW’s commitment to bring a new product to market every year through partnering with some of the leading aluminium systems companies. Previous products have included the EasySecure commercial door.
Jerry comments: “All the signs point to a prosperous next few years, regardless of the General Election disruption, and we expect this market to become a profitable source of business for installers. With this in mind we will continue to adapt our products accordingly and introduce new innovations to help installers remain competitive in a growing market.”
